Available in April. We are very proud of this one. Made from super super fine Merino – and spun up to a very fine 2/30 – this is a gem..
It can be classified in the cobweb class of lace yarns. Unlike 1 ply cobweb yarns – and their annoying thick/thin characteristics that tend to break at the most inopportune time – this 2ply has great stability and even character throughout.
Gauge is highly variable depending on your project, as are needle sizes. We hesitate to make gauge/ndl suggestions as so much depends on the ‘look’ that you prefer. We have knit this on US 00 to US 2’s, with vastly different outcomes, but all appropriate for the projects we were knitting.
It is named after yet another niece – a fine young lady who also displays an evenness in temperment and unsinkable fortitude. You must try this one for your heirloom projects – or for those projects calling for a cobweb weight yarn.
Available in 600 yard OR 1200 yard skein.
